Why members choose it

What it does for you.

The gentle entry

Microdosing uses smaller amounts of the same GLP-1 medications, for people who want metabolic and appetite benefits with a lighter touch and typically fewer side effects.

Made for maintenance

Reached your goal on a full-dose program? A microdose can be a provider-guided way to hold your progress without the full protocol.

Subtle by design

Not everyone wants dramatic. Some members want the edge taken off appetite and their metabolism running clean, this is that dial, turned gently.

Easier on ramp-up

Lower doses often mean less nausea as you begin. Your provider decides whether it fits your goals.

No jargon

How it works

Microdosing uses the same GLP-1 (or GLP-1/GIP) medications at lower doses than standard weight-loss protocols. The mechanism is identical, appetite regulation and improved blood-sugar handling, but the intensity is dialed down, which some people prefer for maintenance, gentler onboarding, or a subtler metabolic effect. It's an approach your provider chooses with you; it isn't right or appropriate for everyone.

The evidence

What the research shows.

GLP-1 receptor agonists reduce appetite and energy intake in a dose-related fashion in clinical pharmacology studies, supporting individualized dosing to the response you need. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and individual results vary.

Important safety information

The honest part. Read it.

GLP-1 medications, at any dose, may cause serious side effects including possible thyroid C-cell tumors. Do not use if you or a family member has had MTC or MEN 2. Other possible effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, pancreatitis, and gallbladder problems. This is not a complete list.

Compounded medication is prepared by a licensed pharmacy pursuant to a prescription. It is not FDA-approved, not FDA-reviewed before marketing, and not a generic or equivalent of any approved product.

'Microdosing' is a dosing approach, not a distinct or safer drug, the same warnings and monitoring apply. Prescribed only when a provider determines it's appropriate.

Compounded · not FDA-approved
Good questions

You asked. We answered.

Is compounded semaglutide the same as Ozempic or Wegovy?

No — and we won't pretend otherwise. Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy for you specifically, based on your prescription. They are not FDA-approved, are not reviewed by the FDA before marketing, and are not generic or equivalent versions of any branded product. Your provider will discuss whether a compounded option, a branded product, or a different approach makes the most sense for you.
